Myskanco Chance Silva Flame

This handsome little fellow is our Oriental Short Hair cat. His full title is Myskanco Chance Silva Flame, and his GCCF registered name is Myskanco Silva Flame, but we call him Chance. Chance got his 'pet name' from the fact we got him by Chance. He's from the breeder who had Koda, and was offered to us after what happened with Koda. Needless to say, we accepted him. As I mentioned with Koda, Myskanco is the breeder's prefix. Chance loves two things best in this world. One is to be cuddled, the other is to have an unlimited supply of food. He was about eight months old by the time we got him (at the start of May 2006) and not too happy about moving in to a house with a dog in it, but he soon got over that. He still hates strange dogs visiting though. Chance can 'beg' and 'come' on command. When he wants to, that is.

Myskanco Dakoda Diero AKA Koda

This little guy is called Myskanco Dakoda Diero. Otherwise known as Koda. The Myskanco part is his breeder's prefix. He's a chocolate point Siamese cat, who I'm adding on this page, but who never really made it to our family. Koda had been a sickly kitten, but seemed to be getting stronger, so, we were going to have him from the breeder. Unfortunately, not long before we were due to go and get him, he was discovered collapsed on the floor. By the time they got him to the vet, it was too late.

Lucy Blackthorn

This is Lucy. She's a Yorkshire Terrier. Before you ask, yes, she is a pure Yorkie, she's just what they call a "throwback." That simply means that she has a few features that make her look a bit different from how a Yorkie normally looks. That's how we got her, actually. She's Bella's daughter, and the litter-mate of my Grandma's Yorkie, Jayde (who also lived with us for a while). Our next door neighbour had Lucy, but for some reason didn't want her any more after people started to question her pedigree. So, we took Lucy in. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep her, and Lucy was re homed. She now lives with a friend of a friend. We hear how she's doing from time to time, but not very often.

Alpha & Bravo

These are Alpha and Bravo. Two of our fish. They are kind of hard to tell apart, but Bravo is the one with slightly less orange on his head.

Megan Zara Rose

This adorable little ball of fluff is called Megan. She loves everyone, and everyone loves her. She's a Persian x Maine Coon x British Short Hair cat, who never really grew very much. When we got her she was eight weeks old and only weighed about a lb and a half, and even once she was fully grown, she only weighed about 3 and a half lbs. Megan can 'sit' 'beg' and 'come' on command. Though, she sometimes forgets how to do the 'sit' part. She'll play with pretty much anything that moves, and enjoys bringing home "presents" for any human she decides she likes (which most people don't appreciate). Unfortunately we had to rehome her as keeping her was no longer an option, so, she was rehomed not long before she turned 3.

Ayla Malaika

This nervous little kitten is called Ayla. She was named after the heroine in Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children book series. Ayla was about three months old when we got her, but by the time she was six months old, we'd had to find her a new home. Her nervousness wasn't an issue, but she became aggressive whenever a dog was too close to her. We tried to get things to calm down, but we weren't having any luck. So, we decided it would be best for everyone involved - animals and humans alike - if she was re homed.

Mr. Sirius Black

This is our sable banded, short-haired, Syrian hamster. His name is Mr. Sirius Black. Yes, he's named after Harry Potter's Godfather in the Harry Potter books. Sirius is an affectionate hamster who loves getting attention. But, the one thing he loves most is his food. Sirius thinks there's no such thing as having too much food.

Butterscotch Pudding

This little cutie is called Butterscotch Pudding. She's a cinnamon, short-haired, Syrian hamster. Butters was extremely nervous and bit a lot when we first got her, but with a little coaxing, she calmed down, and became a sweet little girl who enjoyed being held.

Katie

This is Katie. One of our 'foster fish'. Katie originally belonged to a little girl named Shireen, but we've had her for most of her life.

Sakura Avalon

This is Sakura. She's an Oriental Long Hair crossed with a British Short Haired cat. We had her since she was about four or five weeks old. Normally kittens are older when they leave their parents, but Sakura's mother had died so we had her at a younger age than we normally would have. She's an unusual cat, who seems to be confused about whether she's a cat, a dog, or a human. She's very intelligent, and can open most doors, cupboards, and drawers. She can also 'beg' and 'come' on command. Though, only if she's in the mood to co-operate. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to keep her and had to rehome her when she was about 3 & 1/2 years old.

Rehomed: April 2008

Hamlet De Hammie

This little guy is a semi-albino, Cinnamon banded, short-haired Syrian hamster called Hamlet De Hammie. Hamlet's the best hamster you could ask for, because he's as sweet and gentle as can be. Even a child can hold him without him making any attempt at biting them.

R. I. P. Hamlet - January 13th 2007

Castellan Keroberous

This handsome little man is our West Highland White Terrier (Westie). His full title is Castellan Keroberous, but we just call him Kero. The Castellan part is his kennel's prefix, and Keroberous is the name we gave him. He's a real sweetie who loves to be included in all situations, and hates to be alone. Oh, and he's very spoiled too! We got him when he was just nine weeks old. That was back in 2004. Kero knows all of the usual commands in both Welsh and English, and recognises many other English words as well.

Stew Pot AKA Stewie

This is Stew Pot. More commonly known as Stewie. She's a Dwarf-Mix rabbit. Stewie actually belonged to Tori's mother, but lived with us. When we first got her, we thought that she was a boy (hence the name). We found out when Stewie was a little over a year old though that 'he' was actually a 'she'. Oops! Anyway, she was a 'house rabbit' and when we moved we didn't have the space for her, so, shortly before her fourth birthday, we re homed her.

Re homed: March 2006

Bella Shadow-Thorn

This little beauty is Bella Shadow-Thorn. Bella was almost three years old when she joined our family, and only stayed with us for a couple of months. We had hoped to keep her for longer, but things didn't work out as we'd hoped. So, unfortunately, Bella had to be re homed.

Re homed: April 2007

Charlie's Angel

Charlie belonged to Tori's brother, Wayne, from when he was a baby. then became Tori's budgie when he was about two years old. About a year and a half later, he died.

R. I. P. Charlie - May 2005

Little Shiloh

This cute little rabbit is a Mini Lop named Shiloh. He was Tori's first proper 'house rabbit' and lived with her in the apartment she had when she first moved out on her own. Shiloh was re homed a few years back, and we don't keep in touch with his new owner.

Re homed: January 2003

Samhain Magik

This rabbit's name is Samhain. He's a Lop Mix rabbit who belonged to Tori. He lived in a hutch in the garden, but spent a lot of time indoors. Unfortunately, he only lived a few months.

R. I. P. Samhain - March 2002

Treacle Topping Sparkles Moglyn AKA Topsi

This pretty little cat is Treacle Topping Sparkles Moglyn. More commonly referred to as Topsi. Topsi was a tiny little 12 week old kitten when Tori got her, and was a part of the family for two wonderful years, before leaving this world.

R.I.P. Topsi - June 1st 2001
